Crissy’s Coat Closet: Spreading Warmth to Warren County Families One Coat at a Time

NJ/PA Realtor Criss Smith of Warren County has launched Crissy’s Coat Closet — a community outreach and volunteer-driven effort dedicated to providing coats and warm winter clothing to local residents in need.

Criss’s mission started with something simple: a mother making sure her children had warm coats each year. As time passed, she began noticing more and more Warren County residents walking outside without coats to protect them from the bitter cold.

Today, she is asking for help in coordinating a Community Coat Drive in time for the 2026 cold weather season. Her goal: spread warmth to our neighbors, one coat at a time.

Criss says, “With the new school year beginning and temperatures soon dropping, this is the perfect opportunity to go through closets and gather items you no longer need.”
